Ψαλμοί 21
- 1 «Εις τον πρώτον μουσικόν. Ψαλμός του Δαβίδ.» Κύριε, εν τη δυνάμει σου θέλει ευφραίνεσθαι ο βασιλεύς· και πόσον θέλει υπεραγάλλεσθαι εν τη σωτηρία σου.
- 2 Την επιθυμίαν της καρδίας αυτού έδωκας εις αυτόν, και της αιτήσεως των χειλέων αυτού δεν εστέρησας αυτόν. Διάψαλμα.
- 3 Διότι προέφθασας αυτόν εν ευλογίαις αγαθότητος· έθεσας επί την κεφαλήν αυτού στέφανον εκ καθαρού χρυσίου.
- 4 Ζωήν σε εζήτησε, και έδωκας εις αυτόν μακρότητα ημερών εις αιώνα αιώνος.
- 5 Μεγάλη η δόξα αυτού διά της σωτηρίας σου· τιμήν και μεγαλοπρέπειαν έθεσας επ' αυτόν.
- 6 Διότι έθεσας αυτόν ευλογίαν εις τον αιώνα· υπερεύφρανας αυτόν διά του προσώπου σου.
- 7 Διότι ο βασιλεύς ελπίζει επί τον Κύριον, και διά του ελέους του Υψίστου δεν θέλει σαλευθή.
- 8 Η χειρ σου θέλει ευρεί πάντας τους εχθρούς σου· η δεξιά σου θέλει ευρεί τους μισούντάς σε.
- 9 Θέλεις κάμει αυτούς ως κάμινον πυρός εν τω καιρώ της οργής σου· ο Κύριος θέλει καταπίει αυτούς εν τω θυμώ αυτού· και πυρ θέλει καταφάγει αυτούς.
- 10 Θέλεις αφανίσει από της γης τον καρπόν αυτών, και το σπέρμα αυτών από των υιών των ανθρώπων.
- 11 Διότι εμηχανεύθησαν κακά εναντίον σου· διελογίσθησαν βουλήν, αλλά δεν ίσχυσαν.
- 12 Διά τούτο θέλεις κάμει αυτούς να τρέψωσι τα νώτα, όταν επί τας χορδάς σου ετοιμάσης τα βέλη σου κατά του προσώπου αυτών.
- 13 Υψώθητι, Κύριε, εν τη δυνάμει σου· θέλομεν υμνεί και ψαλμωδεί την δύναμίν σου.

This translation started in 1831 and was published in 1850 by the Orthodox Archimandrite and professor of the National University of Athens, Neophytos Vamvas with the help of other researchers. Considering that the Greek Orthodox Church wouldn't support him, he collaborated with the British and Foreign Bible Society to publish this translation.
The text is written in "kathareuousa", a form of greek that is not spoken today in Greece. It is closer to spoken greek though, than the Septuagint (also known "translation of the seventy").- Encoding: UTF-8
