- 1 โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ กษัตริย์จะเปรมปรีดิ์ในพระกำลังของพระองค์ ท่านจะปีติยินดีอย่างยิ่งในความรอดของพระองค์
- 2 พระองค์ทรงประสิทธิ์ประสาทตามใจปรารถนาของท่าน และมิได้ทรงยับยั้งสิ่งที่ริมฝีปากท่านทูลขอ เซลาห์
- 3 เพราะพระองค์ทรงอำนวยพรดีแก่ท่าน พระองค์ทรงสวมมงกุฎทองคำบริสุทธิ์บนศีรษะของท่าน
- 4 ท่านทูลขอชีวิต และพระองค์ก็ประทานชีวิตยืนนานเป็นนิตย์นิรันดร์
- 5 สง่าราศีของท่านใหญ่ยิ่งเนื่องด้วยความรอดของพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงประดับกษัตริย์ด้วยยศศักดิ์และความสง่าโอ่อ่าตระการ
- 6 พระองค์ทรงโปรดให้ท่านรับพระพรอย่างที่สุดเป็นนิตย์ และทรงกระทำให้ท่านยินดีปรีดาอย่างเหลือล้นด้วยสีพระพักตร์ของพระองค์
- 7 เพราะกษัตริย์วางใจในพระเยโฮวาห์ และด้วยความเมตตาของพระองค์ผู้สูงสุด ท่านจะไม่หวั่นไหวเลย
- 8 พระหัตถ์ของพระองค์จะค้นพบเหล่าศัตรูทั้งหลาย พระหัตถ์ขวาจะพบบรรดาผู้ที่เกลียดชังพระองค์
- 9 เมื่อพระองค์ทรงพระพิโรธ พระองค์จะทรงกระทำให้เขาร้อนจัดดังเตาไฟ พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงกลืนเขาด้วยพระพิโรธของพระองค์ และไฟจะเผาผลาญเขาเสีย
- 10 พระองค์จะทรงทำลายลูกหลานของเขาเสียจากแผ่นดินโลก และพรากเชื้อสายของเขาจากบุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์
- 11 แม้เขาทั้งหลายได้ปองร้ายต่อพระองค์ แม้เขาประดิษฐ์เรื่องชั่วร้าย เขาก็จะกระทำไม่สำเร็จ
- 12 ฉะนั้นพระองค์จะทรงกระทำให้เขาหนีพ่ายไปเมื่อพระองค์จะทรงเล็งธนูไปตรงหน้าเขาทีเดียว
- 13 ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงเป็นที่ยกย่องเชิดชูในพระกำลังของพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายจะร้องเพลงสรรเสริญฤทธานุภาพของพระองค์
