- 1 Herren er blitt konge, folkene bever, han som troner over kjeruber, jorden ryster.
- 2 Herren er stor i Sion, og ophøiet er han over alle folkene.
- 3 De skal prise ditt navn, det store og forferdelige; hellig er han.
- 4 Og i sin styrke elsker kongen rettferd; du har grunnfestet rettvishet, du har gjort rett og rettferdighet i Jakob.
- 5 Ophøi Herren vår Gud, og kast eder ned for hans føtters skammel! Hellig er han.
- 6 Moses og Aron var blandt hans prester, og Samuel blandt dem som påkalte hans navn; de ropte til Herren, og han svarte dem.
- 7 I en skystøtte talte han til dem; de holdt hans vidnesbyrd og den lov han gav dem.
- 8 Herre vår Gud, du svarte dem; du var dem en Gud som tilgav dem, men også en hevner over deres gjerninger.
- 9 Ophøi Herren vår Gud, og kast eder ned for hans hellige berg! For hellig er Herren vår Gud.
