- 1 以利戶又曰、
- 2 爾以爲有理、自謂我之義、愈於上帝之義乎、
- 3 致云、我何所得、較之干罪、何所益乎、
- 4 我將答爾、及爾同侶、
- 5 試觀諸天、瞻視高於爾之穹蒼、
- 6 如爾干罪、與上帝何涉、爾罪增多、與上帝何與、
- 7 如爾爲義、於彼何加、彼於爾手何所得乎、
- 8 爾惡或損同類、爾義或利世人、
- 9 人因多虐而呼號、緣強者之臂而呼救、
- 10 惟無人云、造我之上帝、賜人夜歌者安在、
- 11 其教我儕、使勝於地上之獸、俾智於空中之鳥、
- 12 人因惡者之驕侈而呼籲、而莫之應、
- 13 虛誕之呼籲、上帝誠不之聽、全能者不之顧、
- 14 況爾乎、爾乃曰、不得見之、我之事理在其前、惟俟之而已、
- 15 今因上帝未加以怒、不甚介意於傲慢、
- 16 故約伯空啟厥口、多發無知之言、
