Psalms 125
- 1 They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but stays for ever.
- 2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from now on even for ever.
- 3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.
- 4 Do good, O LORD, to those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
- 5 As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be on Israel.

This is a new translation of the Bible, based on the original King James Version. It is a simple word for word update from the King James English. I have taken care to change nothing doctrinely, but to simply update the spelling and vocabulary. I have not changed the grammar because that could alter it doctrinely.
I am hereby putting the American King James version of the Bible into the public domain on November 8, 1999.
