โฮเชยา 3
- 1 และพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าว่า “จงไปอีกครั้งหนึ่ง ไปสมานรักกับหญิงคนหนึ่ง ซึ่งเป็นคนรักของชู้และเป็นหญิงล่วงประเวณี เหมือนพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงรักวงศ์วานอิสราเอลอย่างนั้นแหละ แม้ว่าเขาจะหลงใหลไปตามพระอื่น และนิยมชมชอบกับขนมลูกองุ่นแห้ง”
- 2 ดังนั้นแหละ ข้าพเจ้าจึงได้ซื้อนางมาเป็นเงินสิบห้าเชเขลกับข้าวบาร์เลย์หนึ่งโฮเมอร์ครึ่ง
- 3 ข้าพเจ้าจึงพูดกับนางว่า “เธอต้องรอฉันให้หลายวันหน่อย อย่าเล่นชู้อีก อย่าไปเป็นของชายอื่นอีก ส่วนฉันก็จะไม่เข้าหาเธอด้วย”
- 4 เพราะว่าวงศ์วานอิสราเอลจะคงอยู่อย่างไม่มีกษัตริย์ และไม่มีเจ้านายเป็นเวลานาน ทั้งจะไม่มีการสักการบูชา หรือรูปเคารพ หรือเอโฟด หรือเทราฟิม
- 5 ภายหลังวงศ์วานอิสราเอลจะกลับมา และแสวงหาพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเขา และแสวงดาวิดกษัตริย์ของเขาทั้งหลาย และในกาลต่อไปเขาจะมีความยำเกรงต่อพระเยโฮวาห์และต่อความดีของพระองค์
